Overview:

Your adventure starts with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Momella Gate, the entrance to Arusha National Park. From there, you’ll hike to Miriakamba Hut. The trek takes you through lush forest and provides stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Meru Crater, and the surrounding wilderness. After reaching Miriakamba Hut, you’ll return to the gate and head back to your hotel.

Activities:

  • Pickup: Meet your guide at your hotel in Arusha.
  • Transfer: Drive to Momella Gate (Arusha National Park entrance).
  • Hiking: Trek from Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut and return.

Hiking Details:

  • Distance: 10-12 km (round trip)
  • Duration: 5-6 hours
  • Altitude Gain: From 1,500 m (Momella Gate) to 2,500 m (Miriakamba Hut)

  • Forest Trek: Enjoy a beautiful hike through lush montane forests.
  • Wildlife Spotting: Keep an eye out for giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, monkeys, and various bird species.
